I’m Sven, A residential Building company. I work with a skilled team of Licenced Builders Plumbers Electricians and Architects on projects ranging from small maintenance to full renovations in the Wellington region.

Sven did a major renovation of our Kelburn apartment in 2018. It involved demolishing the old kitchen and bathroom then rebuilding them. The area was not that big but he redesigned the area then constructed it. We now use this 70 sq m apartment as our Wellington home for 2 nights a week and spend the rest in a new build on the Kapiti Coast. Now that we live part-time in the apartment we can appreciate the good design and build that Sven did. The total cost was of the order of $50 k, which seemed high at the time. However, having built a new house in the interim, we can now appreciate that the contract was well priced, even by 2018 standards. Our view is that Sven has good skills in both design and building. He is also effective at solving problems as they arise. He is smart and approachable. The work did take some time as he was juggling child care with his business at the time. However, we fully support his work and highly recommend him to others.

Sven and his company installed new window sills, scotia and external corner boards on our house. The corner boards were quite fussy as they had to be matched exactly with the existing weatherboards, but the job was done perfectly. I would recommend Sven for any large job.

Sven did a great job on our son's bedroom when we insulated and put in a false ceiling to warm the room up. It has made a massive difference. Sven was great to deal with and we really appreciated his professionalism and advice on how to do things "smarter". The job was completed quickly and to a very high standard. I would absolutely recommend Sven and will use him again.
